Keystone~ Summit County, Colorado
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to visit the past? When looking around Summit County, I felt like I had achieved just that. The feeling that washed over me was indescribable. The snowy mountains surrounding me made me feel as if they were protecting me from every negative thing in the world. When I took a breath, the smell of the earth filled my nose. I feel as if a small part of me is still there, enjoying every second of the adventure.
My Experience
I was only in Colorado for a few days, but I had grown to love Summit County as a home. The people I met were kind, the scenery was spectacular, and the relaxing atmosphere was unbelievable. I went on many adventures, from getting lost on the mountain roads and exploring the bright woods, to zip-lining over valleys and eating excellent food that washed the fear away.
Throughout this all, I was reminded to be thankful and enjoy life. Never will I forget the life lessons Colorado taught me.
One ~ Spend time with your family as much as you can; they are the best people to get lost with.
Two ~ Explore as much as possible. Your future self will thank you for the memories and happiness you discover.
Three ~ It is healthy to sit back and relax every once in a while. It will do you some good to take a break from the stress life gives you.
When you venture to places like Colorado, you never want to leave. Next time you are on a journey, explore the most unusual place you can find. Venturing to an unknown is where you learn the most about yourself and where you can find the true meaning of life.💛
